Praying With Power
By Diana Dunne
Prayer was a top priority for the Apostle Paul. In writing to the churches, his letters contain over 40 examples of his prayers. As we read and consider some of these prayers, it becomes clear that Paul focuses on asking God for big things that are not only specific for the believers, but he prays with specific purposes in mind.
This five-day study is designed to introduce some of these powerful prayers. Each study offers optional responses to help the reader engage with the text.
Here is a review of each day of the study:
Day 1: Praying for Knowledge (Philippians 1:9-11)
Day 2: Praying for Wisdom (Ephesians 1:17-19a)
Day 3: Praying for Power (Ephesians 3:16-19a)
Day 4: Praying for Spiritual Lives (Colossians 1:9b-12)
Day 5: Praying for Hope (Romans 15:13)
